From my experiences working with nonprofit boards over nearly thirty years, I’ve developed a simple yet powerful methodology to help boards focus on their governance role in a practical way. The essential formula works like this:
board roles > board self-assessment > board goals > board work plan
I describe it briefly in an Expert Advice article published at www.massnonprofit.org. Read the article HERE.
 Recent Client Work...
The board of the Massachusetts Council on Compulsive Gambling recently invited me to help them set board goals in this way. We’re currently working on a strategic plan for the organization. The Council’s aim is to reduce the social, financial, and emotional costs of problem gambling. If you know some one who needs help, call their free Hotline at 800-426-1234.

I’m leading a short, free, fun workshop on affirmation, intention, and choice as a path to abundance, vitality, and ease as part of the Wellness and Renewal Series sponsored by one of my clients – the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, Mass. It’s Saturday, September 23, from 9:00 - 10:30 AM, at their beautiful site. For more information call them at 978-456-3924.
Warm regards,
