Recent Writings...

MohonkTeam learning. Team fun.
Sometimes that’s all my clients want. Lucky me.

To read how I adapted my favorite team game to build community in one hour with a raucous group of four hundred women at a remote mountain house, click HERE.

Recent Client Work...

Want a truly original team building idea? The Board at Triangle, Inc., which helps people with disabilities gain greater dignity, independence and economic self-sufficiency, has one. After the kick-off to a strategic planning process, we headed to Boston’s North End to collaboratively cook a fabulous meal that we then sat down and ate. Here I am at the pastry prep table.

Some folks at the Mass Medical Society wanted a team training that would make their popular text, the TEAM Memory Jogger, come alive. A favorite challenge: Which team could build the highest structure in twenty minutes with just 50 straws and 100 pins?

And you have to love my colleague Gabriele Ganswindt teaching systems thinking to a hundred physicians using a peacock feather during a recent visioning retreat.

Signing off...

Long time clients know I introduce this ground rule at nearly every session: Have fun while getting lots done!

Take care,
Jay
