My clients asked for it, and they got it – a faster way to create a shared vision of the future. So was born Grounded Visioning, a simple yet powerful process that is highly visionary yet practically grounded in how an organization is when it is at its very best.
Read about the process, and an extraordinary application with Boston ’s Society of Arts & Crafts, in an article soon to be published in Nonprofit World HERE.
Watch for my how-to book on the process, coauthored with colleague Bernard Mohr, to be published later this year. Working title - Grounded Visioning: The Fastest Way to Create Your Future.

Sixty board leaders, staff, and friends came together last summer for four hours to create a grounded vision for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, a 176 year old institution that is rebounding under new leadership.
Four of five participants volunteered for goal task forces formed that day to further detail bold strategic goals, now incorporated in their strategic vision.
And while we’re talking horticulture, help them celebrate spring at the 2006 New England Flower Show, March 11 – 19, at the Bayside Expo Center Boston. To buy tickets, click here: http://www.masshort.org

On a personal note, I’m sponsoring a meditation course in June at the LOCUS Center in Waltham. The technique – Ascension – is simple and enjoyable. It helps me release stress, quiet my mind, and experience more love and gratitude in my life. If that speaks to you, click HERE.
Take care,
